Poor drainage is a leading cause of water damage in buildings across Columbus. Integrity Insurance reports that 14,000 people in the United States experience a water-damaging emergency at home or business each day. In addition, 98% of basements will eventually suffer some type of water damage. Drainage issues are not only problematic for buildings as they could also result in standing water or erosion problems. Many factors are involved with the proper installation of a commercial drainage system. Items such as drainage issues, functionality, topography, and design must be considered.
