We are no pros at using drones yet, but here are a few shots of the new job we started near Honey Creek in Bargersville last Monday! We are hoping to get the drone back up Monday and show the site after 400 loads of import Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday! We hope everyone has a great weekend enjoying the beautiful weather! Franklin Gateway continues to progress at a rapid pace with the Cat D6 dozer, 340 excavator, and 930 loader leading the charge! Earthmoving is nearly complete, with utilities and storm sewer installation up next. One of our pipe crews is fully hammered down
A general contractor we work with regularly called us in on short notice to help them out and get an old 50,000 sq ft parking lot in Columbus, Indiana, near the hospital removed. We strive to do all we can for our great clients, and some days that means rain or shine! We immediately got an excavator and skid loader on site to complete the task.We started tearing up and piling the old asphalt on Thursday. This morning we began loading it out, and as of 6pm this evening, we're finished except for a little cleanup Saturday morning. We'll be rolling out Monday to the next job
We hope everyone had a safe and fun Labor Day weekend! Whether it was spent with family, friends, or just by yourself, we hope it was relaxing and filled with great memories. Here's to a great start to September!!
This week we broke ground on a new project near Franklin, Indiana, right off I-65. In just three days, we completed minor tree clearing and chipping (with help from Schuder Bros Tree Service), installed erosion control, removed a section of curb for the new entrance, and stripped the entire site and new roadway. We're now moving into cuts and fills.Next week, we plan to knock out the building pad, parking lot, new access road, and turnaround loop, then move straight into sanitary, storm, and water utilities. Our team is especially excited to put our new Cat 340 with Earthworks to work on this project
Starting off, we want to give all the guys at Jordan Excavating LLC a huge shoutout for all the hard work they put in every day! The compliments we have been receiving from GCs, developers, and owners continue to keep our morale at an all-time high! The team has literally been out taking care of business every day!Owner Cameron Jordan has always lived with the mentality that winning is the only option! Every day the good Lord gives you, you have to get up and get after it no matter the obstacles! Our team continues to carry this mindset every day as well!Today at Jordan Excavating LLC we took delivery of our new-to-us, low-hour Cat 340 from MacAllister Machinery. This machine has actually idled longer than it has worked, but we plan to change that as soon as SITECH finishes up the Trimble Earthworks install next week!Lastly, to end this beautiful Friday, we hosted our very first pizza and fantasy football draft! As we will never be the biggest company out there, we take tremendous pride in keeping a small family business atmosphere and enjoying the little things!Keep an eye out for one of our crews — we may be coming to a city near you!
