As you can see, we cover a vast majority of central and southeast Indiana. Don’t see a past project below in your city? Not to worry we are open to new locations, just reach out to see if we are available in your area!
Spring sure brings some unpredictable weather, but we were still able to have a huge week! ![]()
We were fortunate enough to work off a stoned parking lot for 4 days this week in Columbus. We installed roughly 600 LF of RCP, 7 structures, cored an existing manhole for the sewer lateral connection, installed the 4” ductile water service line and 8” ductile fire line along with 2 hydrants. While we were buttoning up loose ends today, we were also able to export 120 loads of excess dirt. Hopefully after Monday, they will be ready for curb and binder! It’s always a great morale boost when a crew can have such a good week!![]()
We also continue to lay storm and move dirt at a large multi family in Noblesville called Avanza, where we are partnered up with Swinney Brothers Excavating! ![]()
With more spring starts right around the corner, 2026 is looking GREAT!
As spring takes off and Jordan Excavating LLC continues to grow, we are looking to hire another full-time employee. This is a specialized position, so please read the description and requirements for this position.
We are looking for an efficient, self-motivated earthwork operator. You will mainly be using a Cat D3 or D6 next-gen dozer with Trimble Earthworks. You will need to know how to read plans, operate and set up the GPS, cut/fill to grade, backfill curbs and islands, perform undercuts, and manage import/export on job sites ranging from .5-acre remodels up to the 30+ acres subdivision/multifamily/commercial developments.
You will need to be able to run an excavator or front loader when exporting and run a roller to keep the jobsite site maintained. You will also have to be willing to jump in a backhoe or skid loader from time to time to backfill or place topsoil. This position is not for everyone and is going to take a specialized individual who wants to work and grow with a smaller company, be willing to jump site to site efficiently. You will need to be willing to get out of the cab, grab a broom or shovel to clean up a curb, sidewalk, or road.
Besides the operating skill, this employee will need to be self-efficient, have a positive attitude daily, work well with others, and coordinate with general contractors, be trustworthy, respectful, show up on time, take orders, and be able to manage/complete daily tasks.
You will take your orders directly from the owner or second-in-command, who both personally have done this job, so please do not waste our time as we know what it’s going to take to efficiently perform in this position daily. We are willing to lightly train an individual we feel could excel at this position if they have earthmoving expierence. ![]()

Another muddy week in the books with a lot of rain in the upcoming forecast, but we will continue to push forward when possible! Spring is right around the corner! 🌦️☀️
Conditions have been less than ideal, but we continue to press on!! We have been very fortunate where our guys have been working full weeks since the start of 2026 through the extreme cold, snow, and mud!![]()
Our crews have been dealing with frozen ground as much as 30” in Noblesville and 16” in Ingalls but due to the warm-up this week, by Friday it was pretty well all mud, as you can see in the photos! ![]()
Owner Cameron Jordan has also been working on cleaning up some field edges for his landlords close to home in Decatur County, Indiana, to help maximize the yields on his farming operation. C Jordan Farms LLC ![]()
We hope everyone has a great Valentine’s Day weekend!
We appreciate the opportunity! Thank you!
We wanted to give a huge shoutout to all of our employees who worked some long hours during this last snow event! We started Saturday and finished up around 5am Monday morning! We will always make sure your business is cleared and salted regardless of the travel advisories. ![]()
We also want to give a huge shoutout to all of our customers in Columbus and Greensburg. Hearing your thanks makes the long hours worth it.
We are hiring! Description below.

Thank you and have a great Sunday.
Well, we could have done without the rain, but last week’s weather sure was nice for January! Starting off 2026 after a quick one-day barn tear-down near the shop, we moved the 320 and D5k to our next clearing project for C Jordan Farms LLC . After all the rain, we will be on hold for a couple of days waiting for the ground to dry out a little or freeze up.
Two of our crews have been hard at work in Noblesville at Avanza Hyde Park installing storm sewer with our 336 and 930 loader, while the D6, roller and 265(not pictured) manage pipe spoils, backfill/stack out, build pads, and try to keep the roads in the best condition we can!
Also pictured below is a Cat 326FL we will be demoing for the next month on some sanitary sewer work near Fortville. Hopefully we can get that crew started early to mid next week and they like the machine! ![]()
2026 is already looking GREAT!! We thank everyone for following along and the continued support! We are truly blessed!
Jordan Excavating LLC coming to a city near you in 2026! ![]()
Tomorrow everyone comes back from an almost 2-week long Christmas break! Our guys are super excited to be back to work and get 2026 started! As 2025 was our biggest year yet we hope 2026 is even bigger! We appreciate all the work from our current clientele and hope to only expand into 2026!
🎄🎅🏼MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM JORDAN EXCAVATING LLC🎅🏼🎄![]()
From our family to yours, we hope everyone has a wonderful day. Full of laughs and smiles, spending time with family and friends! Stay safe if you’re traveling! ![]()
Please don’t forget to thank the good Lord above for all your blessings and the true meaning of Christmas! 🙏🏼
Indiana weather makes the work challenging, but our guys continue to keep hammering away. 2 out of the 3 “triangles of fun” are complete at Avanza Hyde Park. Next we will get ready to drive under the high pressure gas main in 2 locations while we continue to work on the Northside of the job. The D6 and roller continue to maintain the site and keep it as packed in as possible! ![]()
During the madness of winter pipe work, we have also been making sure our snow clients stay safe by keeping salt down! ![]()
We hope everyone has a safe weekend! Stay warm!
